Bio
I'm a Chattanooga-based artist known for vibrant color, texture and paintings that range from folk to fine art.
I have spent more than 40 years in marketing, starting my career as a graphic designer while still in high school. This experience influences much of what I do with color and composition.
Currently, my "day job" is serving as chief marketing officer for a group of technology companies based in Maryland.

Expertise
I have said many times that my artist's statement is, "I'm not that deep." I don't take myself too seriously, but in 2019 I started to take my art seriously. I completed a 100-day challenge to paint daily, finishing 84 paintings during the challenge.
I continue to take online courses in various techniques as I transition from graphic design and a crafty painting style to fine art and informed creation. I am loving intuitive painting and learning new things about my art every day.
Commissions are welcome, but ....
I love to collaborate with art lovers to create a piece just for them. But the nature of abstract, especially intuitive, is that the outcome cannot be planned. So if you want to take a chance with me, I'm happy to work with your colors and size, look at your wish list and go from there!
